Thanks @martumiliartists for a great week working with artworkers Corban, Tameo, Robina, Alicia, Ignatius, Janita and the always happy birthday girl Anya! We spent the week building our skills in public speaking, laughing, and sharing stories! Perfect way to spend NAIDOC week and a great match to this year's theme of 'Voice, Truth & Treaty'. I've known this crew a good few while now, and I always feel so privileged to share time with such talented and committed young people! Palya! See y'all in Alice Springs for #desertmob2019!.

'Unbranded' @latrobe_ai closed on the weekend but what remains is an amazing friendship with Travis Curtin @calypso_werewolf and all the team at La Trobe Art Institute. It was such a pleasure to work with you all, your absolute commitment to sharing stories of First Peoples, working alongside our communities is unwavering. Thanks to all of the artists, orators, social and political commentators and cultural custodians who offered me the great privilege and honour of working with their stories, there's nothing without each of you. Some of my favourite people! So great to have the legendary Mr Tommy May, John Prince Siddon, Illiam Nargoodah and Sharyn Egan in Bendigo for the opening of 'unbranded' @latrobe_ai - artists voices always trump curator's interpretations. Thanks to the Melbourne crew for making it up and huge shout out to my bro @calypso_werewolf for being a dead set legend to work with, and amazing friend!
unbranded launch today at 2pm @latrobe_ai in Bendigo. Drop in if you're around! Second exhibition in as many months and my last one.... For a while... #unbrandedexhibition #unbranded
One of the most moving works in Unbranded, 'Our Babies', 2019, by Nyoongar interdisciplinary practitioner Sharyn Egan, poetically recalls her times in the missions, with other children who were removed from their families and their Country and everything of value it holds within it. Sharyn will be in attendance for the launch of 'unbranded' at @latrobe_ai on Saturday at 2pm. Come along!
